Whistleblower Policy - Rhine Logistics GmbH

1. Purpose

Rhine Logistics GmbH is committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct. This Whistleblower Policy is designed to provide a safe, confidential, and accessible mechanism for employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report concerns regarding unethical, illegal, or improper behavior—without fear of retaliation.


2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders associated with Rhine Logistics GmbH.


3. Reportable Conduct

You are encouraged to report any conduct you believe to be unethical, illegal, or inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fraud, theft, or embezzlement

  • Corruption or bribery

  • Financial misreporting

  • Violations of company policies or codes of conduct

  • Harassment or discrimination

  • Health and safety violations

  • Environmental harm or misconduct


4. Reporting Procedures

Internal Reporting:

If you are not comfortable reporting internally, you may report your concerns to an appropriate external authority, such as a regulatory body or law enforcement agency.


5. Confidentiality

All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality to the extent permitted by law and necessary for a proper investigation. The identity of the whistleblower will remain confidential unless disclosure is legally required.


6. Protection Against Retaliation

Rhine Logistics GmbH strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith. Any act of retaliation will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter and may result in termination or other legal action.


7. Investigation Process

  • Upon receiving a report, the Whistleblower Officer will conduct an initial assessment to determine its credibility and scope.

  • If a full investigation is warranted, it may include interviews, document reviews, and, where necessary, the involvement of external experts.

  • The whistleblower will be updated on the investigation’s progress and outcome as appropriate and permitted.


8. False or Malicious Reports

Rhine Logistics GmbH encourages all genuine reports made in good faith. However, knowingly making false or malicious allegations is considered a serious offense and may result in disciplinary action.


9. Review and Amendments

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains compliant with relevant laws and reflects the company’s operational needs. Any updates or amendments will be communicated to all relevant parties.
